JILL BOWEN
MSW RSW
I am a Registered Social Worker and hold a Masters of Social Work, along with 20 years of professional experience. I work with a diverse range of clients, addressing various concerns including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, adjustment post-injury, family conflict, stress, and life transitions using
evidence-based therapy practices. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and non-judgement, thereby creating a safe and nurturing space where clients can freely express their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My goal is to help clients build upon strengths and enhance their coping skills and confidence, in order to improve their overall quality of life and level of happiness.
As a clinician, I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness to meet clients where they are in their life journey. I always work from a strength-based perspective and believe self-awareness and self-acceptance are key components of
therapy. I am dedicated to creating meaningful connections with my clients and working collaboratively with them to achieve their goals and improve their overall functioning and well-being.
